Project Background

The Pacific Private Sector Development Initiative (PSDI) is a regional technical assistance facility co-financed by the Government of Australia, the Government of New Zealand, and the Asian Development Bank (ADB).

Since 2006, PSDI has been working with ADB’s 14 Pacific Developing Member Countries to improve the enabling environment for business and support inclusive, private sector-led economic growth.

In March 2016, PSDI held a two-day seminar on state-owned enterprise (SOE) reform. The seminar was attended by ministers and heads of departments responsible for SOEs in the Pacific. Participants noted the need to improve the online accessibility of information on SOEs and their performance, and requested ADB and PSDI support.

This set of pages provides a platform to allow for the integration of information on the PSDI SOE reform program with the existing Ministry of Finance webpages for certain Pacific countries that PSDI works with.
